We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, and other complex learning challenges. If youandrsquo;re passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and thrive, weandrsquo;d love to hear from you.

About the Role:
Youandrsquo;ll work closely with teachers and SEND professionals to support pupils across Key Stages 2andndash;4 in a structured, therapeutic setting. Your role will be instrumental in helping students build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual learning needs
• Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour management
• Adapt learning materials to suit diverse abilities and interests
• Support the implementation of EHCPs and behaviour support strategies
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
• Help maintain a calm, inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEMH
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of trauma-informed and inclusive practices
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
