Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs£ Weandrsquo;re looking for a full-time, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Dover, working 1:1 with a visually impaired pupil starting in Reception this September.

Weandrsquo;re working with this small, welcoming school to appoint a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant with a warm, andlsquo;can doandrsquo; attitude.

This term-time only role starts in September 2025, but ideally the successful candidate will join as soon as possible to support the pupilandrsquo;s transition through school visits and receive specialist training during the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1:1 support for a visually impaired pupil in Year R
• Adapt activities and resources for accessibility
• Foster independence, confidence, and inclusion
• Work closely with teachers and the SEND team
• Undertake training relevant to the role

Weandrsquo;re Looking For Someone Who:

• Is caring, flexible, and eager to learn
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is committed to supporting children with additional needs
• Ideally has experience in EYFS or KS1 (not essential)
