We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, starting straight away.

Role Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support pupilsandrsquo; learning and personal development. Your role will be vital in helping children build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support

• 
  

  Assist with classroom organisation and encourage positive behaviour

• 
  

  Adapt learning materials to suit diverse needs and interests

• 
  

  Support lesson delivery and classroom activities

• 
  

  Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff

• 
  

  Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• 
  

  Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing

Ideal Candidate

• 
  

  Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting

• 
  

  Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

• 
  

  Confident in supporting classroom routines and behaviour management

• 
  

  Strong communication and teamwork skills

• 
  

  Knowledge of inclusive education and safeguarding practices

• 
  

  Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
