We are seeking a committed and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive team at a school in Great Missenden. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing tailored support that helps pupils thrive both academically and personally.
About the Role:
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver and support individual learning plans tailored to studentsandrsquo; needs
- Provide targeted support both inside and outside the classroom to help pupils fully access the curriculum
- Support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of students, fostering a positive learning environment
- Supervise students during break times, school trips, lunchtimes, and other non-classroom activities
- Assist in the creation and adaptation of learning resources to meet specific learning requirements
- Track and monitor pupil progress, sharing observations and feedback with the wider teaching and support team
The ideal candidate will:
- Previous experience supporting teaching and learning in a classroom environment, ideally with pupils who have additional learning needs
- A positive, patient, and nurturing approach, with a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective, supportive relationships with both students and colleagues
- A flexible and creative mindset, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and individual needs
