Teaching Assistant - Specialist SEN SchoolLocation: Chesterfield Pay: 95- 120 per day Role: Teaching AssistantTradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Chesterfield, supporting pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, autism, communication, sensory and behavioural needs.The RoleYou will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils develop communication, independence and life skills. You may also support personal care and emotional regulation.About YouWe are looking for someone who:Has experience supporting children or young people with SEN.Is patient, calm, caring and resilient.Can work effectively as part of a team.Is confident supporting complex needs.Is willing to support personal care where required.Team Teach training/experience is highly desirable, although equivalent behaviour-support training will be considered.Pay 95- 120 per day, depending on experience, skills and training.To access the higher rate, candidates should have relevant specialist SEN experience/training, such as Team Teach, and be available full-time.
