About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you''ll be working alongside class teachers to support pupils'' learning and development, both in whole-class settings and with small groups or individual children. Duties may include:

• Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery
• Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils, including those with SEN
• Helping to prepare learning materials and resources
• Supporting pupils'' social, emotional, and behavioural development
• General classroom support to ensure a positive learning environment

What we''re looking for

• Previous experience working with children (in a school, nursery, or similar setting) is desirable but not essential
• A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is beneficial but not required for all roles
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
