Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay: -89 - -100 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Start Date: September 2026

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in primary education? Simply Education is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Sittingbourne that are seeking reliable and passionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils and class teachers from September.

Whether you have experience supporting whole-class learning, working one-to-one, or assisting pupils with additional needs, we''d love to hear from you.

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

• Work with individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning and development.

• Help create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.

• Provide additional support for pupils with SEND where required.

• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

• Be flexible and adaptable to work across different year groups and school settings.

• Previous experience working in a UK primary school is desirable.

• Experience supporting children with SEND is beneficial.

• A positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting children''s learning.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility to work in different primary schools across Sittingbourne.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

• Competitive daily pay of -89 - -100, depending on experience and responsibilities.
