Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to offer both full-time and part-time opportunities for compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Tameside. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs in inclusive, nurturing environments.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
• Support the delivery of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored learning activities
• Assist class teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment
• Offer personal care support where required, in line with individual needs
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
• Build strong, trusting relationships to support pupil confidence and engagement

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within SEND settings
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with diverse needs
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
• A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
