Aspire People are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Sefton, Aintree and Maghull.
These opportunities are ideal for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and want to make a meaningful difference to their education, development and wellbeing.

The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you may be responsible for:
Providing targeted one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEND across KS1 and KS2.
Supporting pupils to access the curriculum through appropriate strategies, adaptations and differentiated activities.
Working alongside class teachers and SENDCos to implement individual support plans and agreed strategies.
Promoting independence, confidence, positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Helping pupils to engage positively with learning and develop their social skills.
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and providing consistent support.
Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents and external professionals where appropriate.
Supporting an inclusive classroom environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
What We''re Looking For
We''re keen to hear from Teaching Assistants who have:
Previous experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs.
A caring, patient and empathetic approach.
The ability to build positive relationships and gain the trust of pupils.
Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
A flexible and collaborative approach to working as part of a school team.
A genuine commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and children''s welfare.
The ability to adapt to different school environments and pupil needs.
Two professional references.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
