We are currently recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who want to make a real difference in children''s lives by supporting their learning, development, communication and emotional wellbeing in a safe and inclusive environment.The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:Supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in the classroom.Providing one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils access learning.Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.Supporting pupils with communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.Implementing individual support strategies to meet pupils'' specific needs.Helping pupils develop essential academic, social and life skills.Supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour using appropriate de-escalation strategies.Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to promote pupil progress.Maintaining a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
