Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to students with complex communication needs, many of whom are pre-verbal.
Assist in creating and delivering a bespoke, innovative curriculum that meets the needs of each child.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to promote inclusion and engagement for all students.
Encourage the social, emotional, and academic development of students in both individual and group settings.
What We''re Looking For:
Essential:
Knowledge and understanding of special educational needs.
A positive, proactive attitude toward supporting students and managing behaviour.
A strong commitment to inclusive education and promoting the best outcomes for students with SEND.
Desirable:
Experience working with students with autism and complex needs (Primary/Secondary).
Relevant qualifications in special educational needs, such as SENCo or other relevant certifications.
An understanding of psychology and how it applies to SEND teaching.
