If so, we want to hear from you.We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a well-established SEMH provision, working closely with students who require additional support to thrive both academically and emotionally. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to young lives, helping them develop the confidence and skills they need for the future.Your Role Will Include:Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with their academic and emotional developmentBuilding positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma, disrupted education, or behavioural challengesAssisting the class teacher with planning and delivery of tailored learning activitiesPromoting emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour through a consistent and therapeutic approachSupporting pupils with strategies to manage anxiety, low self-esteem and behavioural outburstsWorking closely with pastoral teams, therapists, and external professionalsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or similar (e.g., PRUs, alternative provision, ..... full job details .....
