Teaching Assistant (SEN/Autism)Barking and DagenhamSeptember 2026Are you a patient and empathetic teaching assistant with a desire to make a real difference in the lives of young people living with Autism?SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a busy, vibrant 4- form entry primary school in Barking and Dagenham. They are seeking teaching assistants (SEN/Autism) to support key students from EYFS- year 6.Role: Full-time, Monday- Friday (term- time only)Location: The school is located close to Dagenham Heathway Station (District Line).Contract: 1- year fixed- term contract from Sept 2026 to July 2027Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pmPay: £95- £105 per day (PAYE)As a teaching assistant applying for this opportunity, you:Will have previous experience as a teaching assistant (SEN/Autism), ideally within a primary school settingYou will be confident supporting children across all primary year groups and will not shy away from a challenge.A clear understanding of how children with SEN/Autism may experience communication, sensory and social interaction differences.Be able to assert clear and consistent boundaries and behaviour support.Be patient and understand that all children with SE/Autism are different and this may require flexibility in your approach.Be able to identify and respond appropriately to individual learning and sensory needs.You will have a deep desire to push children to reach their potential and continue to strive for more.Next steps:Are you ready to make a lasting ..... full job details .....
