SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of an excellent primary school in Havering (Hornchurch). They are looking for a teaching assistant to work in the early years/reception.

The role will be a mix of 1:1 work (supporting students with Autism), and general teaching assistant.

The role:

• Supporting children with learning through play and structured activities
• Assisting with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development
• Encouraging positive social and emotional development
• Helping to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Assisting with observations and monitoring pupil progress
• Promoting children''s confidence, independence, and wellbeing

About you:

• Would ideally hold a minimum CACHE Level 3 early years qualification ie be a qualified nursery nurse/early years professional
• Must exhibit patience, empathy, and strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must have previous experience working within the early years (nursery/reception)
• Must have previous experience working with SEN/Autism
