      <description>Location: Newham | Salary: &amp;pound;95 - &amp;pound;105/day | Type: Permanent | Teaching Assistant    SEN/SEMH    ASAP Start     Newham      SANZA Teaching Agency are supporting an excellent primary school in the London borough of Newham. They are looking for a teaching assistant to join their team ASAP.     The role will involve supporting a boy in year 6 in the mornings. The student has Autism and social/emotional needs. The remainder of the day will be split between supporting other key students in year 5 and year 6, as well as general assistance across other year groups.       About you:    You will need to be confident using positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.  Be confident delivering targeted interventions to small groups and 1:1.  Be confident and willing to work across all primary year groups.    Will have experience as a teaching assistant in a primary or SEN setting.  A warm and nurturing attitude, able to build rapport quickly.  A patient, calm and understanding approach to supporting young children with additional needs.
