This Teaching Assistant role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD, global delay, and other complex needs. The setting caters for pupils from primary through to secondary age, so the right Teaching Assistant will be adaptable and confident supporting a wide range of learners.As a Teaching Assistant, you will be:Providing one-to-one support to pupils with SEMH and other needsLeading small group interventions as a Teaching AssistantOffering class support as well as targeted work outside of the classroomSupporting pupils across different areas and provisions within the schoolBuilding strong relationships with pupils, staff, and familiesUsing a range of strategies to engage and motivate learnersThis Teaching Assistant role will suit someone with experience in SEN or SEMH settings, although transferable skills from youth work, mentoring, or similar backgrounds will also be considered.
