The school is described as having a ''family feel'' and being an environment where individuals are nurtured and valued, and staff make a real effort to get to know them and their lives outside school. About the teaching assistant role: The nature of the role is to work as a teaching assistant within a Year 3 class with a girl who has SEMH needs, on a 1:1 basis. The teaching assistant role is confirmed until the end of the academic year and with the possibility to extend beyond and remain with the pupil in the new academic year. You will be working closely with the class teacher and pastoral team to ensure correct plans are in place to best assist the young girl. She has SEMH needs which can lead to her becoming emotionally dysregulated.
