Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: Salford, Greater Manchester Start Date: ASAP Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break) Salary: 13.69 - 15.83 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella)Reeson Education is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary SEN school in Salford. The school promotes confidence, resilience, and teamwork, making it a great fit for a Teaching Assistant who thrives in a hands-on, dynamic setting.Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:Work as a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils in small groups and one-to-one settings.Use Team Teach strategies to support positive behaviour and de-escalation.Provide structured routines to help pupils develop confidence and self-regulation.Use active engagement techniques to keep pupils focused and involved in learning.Work alongside teachers and therapists to create tailored support plans.Help pupils develop social skills, resilience, and teamwork.Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, behaviour mentor, or in sports coaching, youth work, or alternative provisions.Team Teach training is essential.Ability to provide structure, positive ..... full job details .....
