This Teaching Assistant position will be full time and long term with scope to go permanent. Working hours for this Teaching Assistant post will be 8am to 4pm with a 1 hour unpaid break. Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to: Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessionsWorking with the teachers to ensure each student''s learning needs are identified Attending to students'' social, emotional and personal needs when requiredSupporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policyUndertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between 85.50 and 120 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. The School A Coeducational Academy for pupils aged 11 to 16 years old, located in the London Borough of Southwark. BTEC and GCSE classes are both available for pupils to study. The Music and Drama departments put on regular theatrical performances, including an annual school performance and have previously performed at the Royal Opera House too.
