Teaching Assistant Location: Bexhill-on-Sea, East SussexSalary: £95-£110 per dayJob Type: Temporary, 5 days a week to start ASAP We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting, working as part of a small class team to provide personalised support to pupils and students. The provision caters for children and young people aged 5-19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties, and a range of associated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping pupils achieve their individual learning, social and emotional development goals within a supportive and nurturing environment. The Role Support pupils individually and in small groups to access learning and achieve their full potential. Assist with the delivery of tailored learning and behaviour support programmes. Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning. Support the emotional, physical, and personal care needs of pupils where required. Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues. Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources, and administrative tasks. Follow safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
