The successful candidate will play a key role in helping a child access learning, develop socially and emotionally, and achieve their individual targets.The RoleAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide targeted support to a Year 1 pupil with additional needs, working closely with the class teachers, SENDCo, and wider staff team.Key responsibilities include:Providing 1:1 support and intervention throughout the school day.Supporting the pupil''s academic, social, and emotional development.Implementing strategies from support plans and EHCPs where applicable.Working collaboratively with teaching staff across the Year 1 team.Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to the class teacher and SENDCo.The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for someone who:Has ..... full job details .....
