This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of children requiring additional support. Day-to-day of the role: Provide tailored support to children with complex needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential. Work closely with the lead teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs). Assist in the development and delivery of engaging educational activities that cater to the specific needs of each child. Monitor and record the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students. Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN support. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within an SEN setting. Understanding of the challenges faced by children with complex needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents. Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development. Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are advantageous.
