Teaching Assistant

We are seeking skilled trade professionals and vocational educators for a range of permanent Lecturer and Technician positions at a well-established college in Cambridge. Opportunities are available across Plumbing, Electrical, Construction and other trade disciplines. Full-time, Monday to Friday (08:30-17:30). Applicants must have a valid Right to Work in the UK and ideally hold a clean Enhanced DBS. Industry professionals looking to transition into education are welcome to apply. We are keen to speak with candidates from the following backgrounds: Plumbing Electrical Installation Construction Carpentry and Joinery Bricklaying Multi-Skilled Trades Engineering and related vocational subjects Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 5:30pm Full-time, permanent opportunities available Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons to students. Support learners in developing industry-relevant skills. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a safe and positive learning environment. Assist with workshop management and equipment maintenance (Technician roles). Promote high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement. Requirements: Industry experience within your specialist trade. Relevant vocational qualifications.
