This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on young people''s education, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.About the role:Supporting students aged 11-19 across all year groups, depending on your preference and experience.Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.Providing tailored academic and pastoral support on a 1:1 basis.Supporting small groups of students, typically between 3-5 pupils.Helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.Encouraging student engagement, confidence and independence in the classroom.Pay, Hours and Contract:Pay: 15 - 17 per hourHours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to FridayContract: Full-time, temporary position with the potential to become permanentStart Date: September 2026Location: Middlesbrough Experience, Qualifications and Requirements:Previous experience working in a school, education, childcare, youth work or support-based setting is desirable.Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching and Learning, childcare or related qualification (preferred but not essential).Confident supporting students on a ..... full job details .....
