Teaching Assistant

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, and is looking for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about helping young people reach their full potential.

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Confident supporting pupils with complex needs, autism, challenging behaviour or learning difficulties
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting the wider school team

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, develop their independence and manage their behaviour and emotions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or Level 3 TA looking to develop their career within a specialist SEND setting.
