Teaching Assistants South East London ASAP start Prospero Teaching are currently seeking Graduates who are interested in becoming Teaching Assistant''s to work at a vibrant and friendly secondary school. The Teaching Assistant Post Information Schools located across South East London require graduates or experienced teaching assistants to support within classrooms in their Schools. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator, someone dedicated, be a good role model and be passionate about building rapport with students. HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT 8am - 3pm Monday - Friday Full-time ideally You will also need eligibility to work in the UK and be willing to apply for DBS disclosure. What Does The Teaching Assistant Role Involve? The teaching role includes supporting the class teacher and students during lessons, 1:1 session, intervention groups and working with other departments. The lessons will have delivered to all year groups Key Stage 3, Key stage 4, and the desire to work with Key Stage 5 is preferable but not essential. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MY ROLE AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT? As a teaching assistant, you will be exposed to students of various abilities, you will need to analyse data and build up your ability to raise attainment using skills, lesson plans, numeracy, and literacy tasks to raise attainment.
