Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is working with a number of secondary schools across West London looking for Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join their teams. A variety of opportunities are available for candidates looking for work as soon as possible.

Position: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary, long-term
Hours: School hours, typically 8:30am - 3:30pm (may vary by school)
Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on experience and role
Schedule: Full-time

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to support students with their learning and classroom activities
- Good behaviour management skills
- A patient, positive and flexible approach
- A commitment to supporting students of different abilities and needs
Applications from candidates looking to gain further school-based experience will also be considered.

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
- Provide a minimum of two professional references covering the last 24 months. Academic references may be accepted where appropriate.
