A year as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant is the experience every one of those courses looks for. Principal Education is working with specialist schools across Hounslow that want bright, resilient graduates full time until July 2027. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant you will:- Support pupils with autism, SLD and SEMH needs, 1:1 and in small groups- Use strategies like PECS, Makaton and positive behaviour support- Help pupils manage big emotions and work towards their EHCP outcomes- Work alongside teachers, therapists and the SENCO every day- Build hands on experience you can talk about in any interview What you must bring- Right to work in the UK- A degree, ideally in Psychology, Education or a related subject- Some experience with children or young people, paid or voluntary- Resilience, empathy and a genuine interest in SEN- Full time availability, Monday to Friday, term time- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application- Overseas police clearance if you''ve lived abroad for 6 months or more in the last 5 years Pay and benefits- £105 to £125 per day depending on experience, paid weekly- Higher rates for ongoing roles, aligned with the school''s pay scale- Training and support from day one- A consultant who''ll help you plan your next step into psychology, therapy or teaching Who are Principal?Principal was founded by ..... full job details .....
