Teaching Assistant - Year 4Location: Whalley Bridge AreaStart Date: Summer TermContract: Until 22nd JulyHours: Full-time (Monday-Friday, except Thursday afternoons)Premier Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Whalley Bridge area seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support within Year 4 for the Summer Term.This role will involve providing classroom support as well as delivering targeted intervention work to support pupils'' progress through to the end of the academic year on 22nd July.Role Responsibilities:Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 4 classroomDelivering small group and 1:1 intervention sessionsAssisting with literacy and numeracy supportSupporting pupils with additional learning needs where requiredHelping to maintain a positive and well-managed learning environmentWorking collaboratively with the class teacher and wider staff teamCandidate Requirements:Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary settingExperience supporting KS2 pupils, ideally Year 4Confidence delivering small group interventionsA proactive, patient, and supportive approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhat''s on Offer:Consistent work for the full Summer TermSupportive and welcoming school environmentCompetitive daily rates based on experienceOngoing support from a ..... full job details .....
