The class supports non-verbal pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) , including wheelchair users and pupils with complex physical and medical needs. There is a high staff-to-pupil ratio , with teachers, TAs and specialist staff working closely together. The Role You will: Support pupils with PMLD and complex needs Work with non-verbal pupils and wheelchair users Support learning, communication and sensory activities Provide personal and intimate care Support PEG/gastrostomy feeding following appropriate training and individual care plans Assist with moving and handling where required Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff This is a hands-on care and education role , so you must be comfortable supporting pupils with personal car...
