Pupils include non-verbal children and young people and wheelchair users , with a high staff-to-pupil ratio and a strong team of teachers, TAs and specialist professionals. The Role You will: Support pupils with PMLD and complex learning needs Work with non-verbal pupils and wheelchair users Support communication, sensory activities and learning Provide personal and intimate care Support PEG/gastrostomy feeding following appropriate training and individual care plans Assist with moving and handling where required Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff This is a hands-on care and education role , so you must be comfortable supporting pupils with personal care and complex physical needs.
