Salary: £90 - £105 per day
Contract: Long Term
Working Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday)

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to grow your skills and possibly become a teacher one day?
GSL Education is currently recruiting a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join a well-respected primary school in Newham. If you have experience supporting children individually or in small groups and can start right away, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:Work alongside the class teacher to motivate and support students in reaching their potential
Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with special educational needs
Help build students’ confidence and self-esteem by listening carefully and using personalised support methods
Be part of a friendly, vibrant school community focused on high-quality education
Access ongoing professional development and support to help you grow your career
Make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of young learners
Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
Comfortable providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEN
Understands child development and effective ways to support learning
Works well as part of a team
Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Is a caring listener who helps boost pupils’ confidence and self-esteem
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential. All successful applicants must pass thorough safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check registered on the update service.
