Teaching Assistant
Monarch Education are working with a specialist SEND school in South Warwickshire who are looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.The school supports pupils across a range of ages with additional needs, providing a structured, nurturing environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. The staff team focus on delivering a personalised curriculum that develops academic, social, and emotional skills.About the pupilsStudents at the school have a range of additional needs, including:Autism (ASC)Moderate to severe learning difficultiesSocial, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)Communication and interaction difficultiesSensory processing needsComplex needs and associated behavioursThe Role:Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groupsAssisting with delivery of EHCP targets and personalised learning plansSupporting communication, engagement, and emotional regulationPromoting positive behaviour and building strong relationshipsSupporting daily routines, including sensory activitiesAssisting with personal care where requiredWorking collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staffEssential:Experience working with SEND, SEMH, or complex needsA calm, patient, and resilient approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to build trust and rapport with pupilsComfortable supporting personal care if requiredAvailable full-time and committed to a long-term roleBenefits of Working with ..... full job details .....
