The successful Teaching Assistant will support teaching and learning within a Year 1 mainstream class, including providing targeted support for students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on children s learning and development during a key stage of their education. Teaching Assistant Responsibilities and Requirements: Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to the year1 students. Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils, including those with SEND. Promote positive behaviour and inclusion within the classroom. Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials. Support the students emotional wellbeing and social development.
