KS2 Teaching Assistant Haringey, North London 110 - 125 per day September Start Full-Time Long-Term About the Role Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming primary school in Haringey to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a general classroom support role, working alongside the class teacher to support pupils across the KS2 curriculum. A key part of the position will be delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups who require additional support with their learning. Key responsibilities include:Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2Delivering small group and 1:1 interventionsProviding targeted support in literacy, numeracy, and readingHelping pupils who require additional support to close gaps in learningEncouraging positive behaviour, independence, and engagementSupporting the class teacher with activities, resources, and pupil progressThe Ideal Candidate The school is looking for someone who:Has previous experience working with primary-aged childrenIs confident supporting pupils across the KS2 curriculumCan effectively deliver small group interventionsIs proactive, organised, and enthusiasticHas strong communication and teamwork skillsIs committed to helping pupils make strong academic progressGraduates and candidates with backgrounds in education, psychology, childcare, youth work, or related fields are also encouraged to apply.
