Teaching Assistant - Reception Class Westminster, W9 (commutable from Maida Vale, Paddington, Queen''s Park, Kilburn and St John''s Wood) 110- 120 per day Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary Long Term Futures is recruiting an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Westminster, supporting children within a Reception class from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys the Early Years environment and understands how to balance structured learning with purposeful play. You''ll work closely with the Reception teacher to help children develop their phonics, early literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills during this important first year of school. About the RoleSupport teaching and learning throughout the Reception classroom Lead small-group phonics, reading and early maths activities Support children during adult-led activities and continuous provision Encourage communication, language and vocabulary development Use questioning and play to extend children''s learning Help children develop independence, confidence and positive classroom routines Provide additional support to children who need help reaching expected developmental levels Observe children''s learning and share progress with the Reception teacher Help maintain an engaging and stimulating EYFS environment Ideal CandidatePrevious EYFS or Reception classroom experience is strongly preferred Good ..... full job details .....
