Teaching AssistantProvision: Secondary School Learner HubLocation: Swanwick (DE55)Pay Scale: Between 410 and 450 a week (after deductions)Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, Full TimeStart Date: ASAPLong Term Futures are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Learner Hub in Swanwick. The Learner Hub provides a small, supportive alternative to the mainstream classroom for students who require additional help to engage successfully with their education. With class sizes of no more than six students, the provision offers a calm and nurturing environment where learners can receive more individualised academic and pastoral support. You will work closely with students who may find a mainstream classroom challenging, helping them to remain engaged with their learning, build confidence and make positive progress.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small-group support within the Learner Hub, working with groups of up to six students.Support learners who require additional help away from the mainstream classroom environment.Work under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff to deliver tailored support strategies.Adapt learning resources and approaches to meet individual needs.Support students across core subjects, including maths, English and science.Promote positive behaviour and help students develop confidence, resilience and independence.Help maintain a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment.Who We''re Looking ForA minimum Level 3 qualification ..... full job details .....
