      <description>Location: London | Salary: 30000.00-30000.00 Annual | Type: Temporary | Location: East London School: Secondary School Contract: Full-time Start Date: September 2026 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistant to join our secondary school in East London, providing targeted support to students who require additional help with literacy, reading, spelling and phonics-based learning. The ideal candidate will have experience using Lexonics or similar structured literacy programmes and will be confident supporting students who may have gaps in their literacy skills, including students with SEND. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping young people develop their confidence, independence and communication skills. Key Responsibilities  Provide one-to-one and small-group literacy support to students. Deliver structured Lexonics/phonics-based interventions in line with students'' individual needs.
