Requirements Essential Some experience in the care or education of children, or transferable skills. Basic understanding of child development. Ability to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. Strong communication skills across all levels: children, parents, and professionals. Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team and work independently within a framework. Ability to support children across personal, social, and educational areas. Accuracy in record-keeping.
