Teaching Assistant - KS2

Your new companyDesian Education are proud to be supporting a single-form entry primary school in Chester easy access to the motor as they are require an experience and motivated teaching assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This is full-time temporary position where you will play a vital part in the behavioural and emotional development of a number of pupils across KS2 (key stage 2).Your new roleAs a teaching assistant within this school you will work alongside the SENCO to promote the emotional development, attendance and behaviours of a group of pupils across KS2. You will liaise with class teachers on your pupils behaviours and needs on the given day, tailoring your approach to best suit their individual personality and needs at any given time. You will work with the SENCO and teachers to plan and deliver various 1:1 behavioural and well-being sessions, initially completed within a break-out room to promote engagement with the aim of integrating your pupils back in to class.What you need to succeedFull "Right to Work" in the UKAn Enhanced Children''s DBS check or willingness to obtainExperience supporting young people with SEMH, trauma and/or behavioural needsA minimum of 40 days referenceable classroom experience within the last 2-yearsWhat you''ll get in returnIf you are successful in your application, you will receive:Full support and dedication of an experienced and dedicated consultantCompetitive rate of payFull holiday entitlementCompany pension ..... full job details .....
