MATERNITY COVER - TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE, KS1 I am working with one of our partner schools based in Nottingham who are in need of a highly experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant, this role is to cover maternity leave.We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Primary School Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming primary schools. If you are passionate about helping children learn, grow, and succeed, we would love to hear from you.About the RoleAs a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils across Key Stage 1, Your role will involve helping to deliver engaging lessons, supporting individual and small-group learning, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment. Ideally highly experienced with phonics.ResponsibilitiesProvide support to pupils 1:1, in small groups, or across the whole clasAssist with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy activitiesHelp set up and organise classroom resourcesSupport pupils with SEND or additional needsEncourage positive behaviour and help maintain classroom routinesSupervise pupils during transitions, break times, and activitiesPromote independence, confidence, and engagement in learningWork closely with teachers to support teaching and learning RequirementsTo apply, you must have:A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE/NCFE or equivalent)Recent UK school experience, ideally within a primary settingA good understanding of safeguarding and ..... full job details .....
