A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sutton is seeking a dedicated, full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide support for pupils with ASD and ADHD.The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and ADHD.Assisting in the delivery of engaging and differentiated learning activities.Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and behavioural development.Implementing strategies and interventions recommended through EHCPs and SEND support plans.Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop confidence and independence.Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support progress and wellbeing.Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure pupils receive the best possible support.What We''re Looking ForPrevious experience working within a primary school or educational setting.Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or other additional learning needs.A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.Strong communication and teamwork skills.The ability to build trusting relationships with children and support their individual needs.Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, are desirable but ..... full job details .....
