As an HLTA, you will play an important role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning, helping pupils make progress and achieve their full potential.The Role As a Supply Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will: Support teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive, and effective learning experiences. Lead learning activities and lessons in the absence of, or under the direction of, the class teacher. Work with individuals, small groups, and whole classes to support pupil progress. Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs. Adapt learning activities and resources to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning styles. Support positive behaviour management and promote high standards of behaviour and engagement. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to learning plans where appropriate.
