Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with teaching staff to deliver accessible and engaging lessons
Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), risk assessments, and care programmes
Use radio aids and assistive technologies to enhance communication
Build strong relationships with pupils to support confidence and independence
Collaborate with families, teachers, and external specialists to meet pupils'' individual needs
Support the development of social, emotional, and academic skills
Assist with phonics and communication strategies where needed (particularly for pupils with cochlear implants)
What We''re Looking For:
Experience supporting children with Hearing Impairments (HI), or a strong desire to develop in this area
British Sign Language (BSL) Level 1-3 and/or Makaton training (preferred)
A good understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices
