Teaching Assistant – Lincoln

Salary: £93 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Lincoln. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young people and wants to gain valuable experience within a school environment.

You will work alongside teachers and other support staff, helping students overcome barriers to learning and encouraging them to become more confident and independent learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils during lessons and classroom activities
• Provide one-to-one and small-group learning support
• Assist teachers with preparing resources and activities
• Encourage students to participate and stay engaged with their learning
• Support positive behaviour and help create a calm classroom environment
• Provide additional support to pupils with SEND where required
• Build positive and professional relationships with students and staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
• A patient, caring, and encouraging approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to adapt to different students and learning needs
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people''s development
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
