Teaching Assistant

GSL are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support students in a secondary school setting with identified learning needs, including SEN (Special Educational Needs) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). This role is based in an Ofsted-rated Outstanding school and involves supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis across Key Stages 3 and 4.You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help students access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their full academic and personal potential.If you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, Graduate, Support Worker, Sports Coach, or someone with a positive attitude looking to begin a career in education, we would love to hear from you.You will have opportunities for professional development and will support students in a range of settings, including: In-class support across a variety of subjects Targeted 1:1 and small group interventions Exam preparation and coursework support Enrichment and extracurricular activities such as sports, trips, and wider school events As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with additional needs. You will work closely with subject teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to deliver personalised support strategies that enable students to engage with the secondary curriculum.
