Teaching Assistant Borehamwood, Hertfordshire ASAP Start Permanent (Employed directly by the school) £23,000- £25,355 Forever Education is supporting a unique independent SEN group that provides therapeutic education for children and young people with special educational and neurodiverse learning needs. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them and be based in Borehamwood supporting a Student on a 1-1 basis on a permanent basis (employed directly by the school) Does this sound like the Teaching Assistant role for you? JOB DESCRIPTION Support the class teacher (virtually) in ensuring the best possible outcomes for pupils, including the delivery of lessons and related educational activities as specified in the pupils EHCP and any other relevant documentation. Collaboratively plan, deliver and monitor creative and innovative lessons and projects in accordance with the aims of the relevant documentation, and to work towards good practice outcomes, drawing on a range of resources both from within the school and utilising appropriate community facilities and activities e.g., internet access, libraries, museums, and historical sites. Liaise with senior leadership in developing a comprehensive risk assessment and management program, providing appropriate supervision for all your assigned pupils.
