Teaching Assistant EYFS

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging EYFS activities
• Work with small groups and on a one-to-one basis to support learning and development
• Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
• Help with observations and contribute to pupil progress tracking
• Encourage positive behaviour and support children''s social and emotional development
• Support children with additional needs where required

Requirements

• Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years (essential)
• Experience working with children in an EYFS or nursery setting (preferred)
• Basic understanding of the EYFS framework
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, nurturing, and positive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
