The Teaching Assistant role As a Teaching Assistant in Bracknell, you''ll work as part of an experienced specialist classroom team, supporting pupils throughout their school day. This isn''t simply a classroom-based role. Learning is highly personalised and could see you supporting everything from sensory activities and communication to PE, life skills and accessing the wider community. Your day could include: Supporting pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties Providing 1:1 and small-group support Helping pupils access sensory circuits and sensory-based learning Supporting communication and interaction Encouraging independence and essential life skills Supporting pupils with emotional and sensory regulation Helping pupils access PE and physical activities Supporting personal care where required Accompanying pupils on community activities, trips and off-site learning Using positive behaviour approaches to support pupils when they become dysregulated Working closely with teachers, therapists and other ..... full job details .....
