The successful candidate will play a key role in providing a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive academically and emotionally. You will work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and specialist teams to deliver tailored support and interventions. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils with SEMH needs, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Build strong, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and resilience. Work with individuals or small groups to deliver targeted educational and social development programmes. Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and learning resources. Contribute to Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and pupil progress reviews. Supervise pupils during lessons, enrichment activities, and break times to ensure safety and well-being. Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality at all times. Participate in team meetings, CPD, and whole-school training. Requirements Essential: Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or additional needs. Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
